The Mallard is the commonest duck and most recognizable of all ducks. The male Mallard has a beautiful dark green head, a yellow bill, is mainly purple-brown on the breast and grey on the body.
It breeds in all parts of the Celtic nations in summer and winter, wherever there are suitable wetland habitats, although it is scarcer in upland areas.
This is a cuddly, singing soft toy with an authentic digitally reproduced bird call. This lovely Mallard simply neds a squeeze and you can listen to his call.
The male Mallard's usual call is a nasal 'rheab', repeated when alert on water, and short whistle during courtship.
Perfect for story-telling and imagination play by bird-loving children and adults alike.
